Gibraltar Tiles 2023

Following the success of last year’s set of placemats and coasters,I was recommissioned by the Gibraltar Heritage Trust to create a new set of 4 showcasing other tile designs around Gibraltar but which were not solely centred around Main Street.

In addition they commissioned a tote bag and tea towel with the Turnbull’s Lane design.

The crops that we chose to highlight of these tiles is purposefully non symmetrical to encourage people looking at these tiles to truly see the detail in them.

This project has a conservation aim. It is hoped that by seeing the beauty of these tiles more members of the general public will be encouraged to conserve the tiles found within their properties and not remove them when conducting home renovations.
